2025 Taster Day – Swing into golf! Swing into fun!
Harwood Golf Club Women’s Section welcomes 10 enthusiastic women keen to give golf a try.
Well, the weather couldn’t have been more inviting for our annual Women’s Taster Day! Ten wonderfully enthusiastic women were given a warm welcome by Captain Kate and the team over coffee in the clubhouse, followed by a fun putting session with our club pro, Dale on the practice green.
A leisurely walk over to the practice ground gave us the opportunity to show off part of our beautiful course, and then hundreds of golf balls started flying with abandon onto the chipping green, no doubt helped by the fact that Dale had promised wine for whoever managed to chip in! (Two were successful so be careful what you promise, Dale!)
Finally, entertaining and heartfelt speeches from current members, information on the excellent golf deals available, sandwiches and cream scones from Kelly, and even a glass of Prosecco, all made for a perfect end to a glorious afternoon in the sun!
We are now looking forward to welcoming as many back as possible for group lessons, one of our pathways into women’s golf.
